The Manhattan Basketball Association was established in the fall of 1996 to foster and encourage education and learning through participation in the sport of basketball for as many girls and boys as possible.  We provide opportunities by organizing clinics and tournaments for teams in the Manhattan, KS area. 

Our organization provides insurance coverage and secures practice facilities for our registered teams. We also offer community-wide clinics, host tournaments, and assist monetarily less fortunate families with scholarships so no child who desires to play is turned away due to financial, racial, ethnic, or gender factors. We are dedicated to encouraging good sportsmanship, and opening the door to student-athletes who without our assistance would be unable to pursue their dream to play basketball. A large portion of our profits also benefit the MHS girls and boys basketball teams to fund any unmet needs the coaches and teams incur.
